Surface Prep & CleaningSurface cleaning

Any time a hard surface, such as asphalt, concrete or metal needs to have a coating applied, the surface must first be cleaned and prepared.  High pressure waterblasting or water jetting is one method to prepare a surface.  A high pressure water shotgun can be used to remove rust, old coatings, product residue, or damaged concrete before re-pouring or to provide a profile for new coatings to adhere better to a surface.  Paint booth cleaning

  • Airports - preferred method of removing tire rubber, oils, and line striping from airfields.
  • Automotive facilities:  removing paint and coating build up on carriers, conveyors, grating, and related machinery at paint facilities.
  • Marine applications:  removing marine growth and paint from private ships, commercial vessels, and military frigates before new layers of friction-reducing and protective coatings are applied.
