The TST Hose Protection/Shroud is placed on the hose at the connection to the lance. There is a 250 mm (9.8") solid steel collar at the point closest to the lance , where the hose is most likely to break. The Hose/Protection/Shroud has been tested for 43,500 psi (3000 bar). An adjustable strap holds the shroud to the lance. The hose protection/shroud is smooth and flexible.
